It’s not how much money you have that’s relevant, but whether you feel rich.
It’s not how much money you have that’s relevant, but whether you feel rich.
It’s not how much money you have that’s relevant, but whether you feel rich. I love this quote from Coco Chanel since it encompasses everything I think about money.
Abundance is the term I prefer rather than rich since abundance covers so much more than just money. It encompasses your whole lifestyle: how much free time and fun you have, your health and vitality, your friendships, spiritual connection, etc. You need a certain level in all these pillars to experience abundance.
I know clients who have more money than they will spend in their lifetime, but they do not feel rich. Equally, I know clients who have significantly less money and definitely experience abundance.
One particular client of mine has lower wealth than my typical client, but we have worked out how much she can spend each year to feel reasonably confident her funds will last her lifetime.
She monitors her spending closely and if she overspends in one area, she reduces her spending in another.
Does she feel poor? Certainly not. She feels she has the information she needs to make sensible, practical financial decisions to ensure she looks after her wealth.
So, what about you? Do you have money or are you rich? If you would like to discuss what abundance means for you please do contact me on mary@wealthforwomen.biz.
